Angie & Cody

A couple weekends back while on the West Coast falling in love with BC (again) I got to spend a bit some time hanging out and getting to know Angie and Cody, an amazing couple from Vancouver. With one day to scout for a shoot location and pick up a few props – this shoot couldn’t have gone smoother. Not only was the park we were recommended (by their hair stylist Chris Bennett ) totally perfect but on my way to their house to pick them up, I was also given a bunch of free helium balloons. Too good! Hanging with these guys was awesome, it’s meeting people like them, and doing shoots like these that have me loving every second of this job.

I’m also totally looking forward to heading back West for their wedding in September. alex

Angie’s gorgeous make up and hair were done by Chris Bennett (hair) and Betty Draven (make up).

Chantal & Chris

I count myself really lucky to have spent an amazing week with with my friends Chantal and Chris and a handful of their family and friends in Jamaica. Their short but sweet little ceremony took place in a gazebo overlooking the ocean during a 15 minute break in a Jamaica down pour. Everyone had a great time despite the weather, and we all figured they now have enough luck to last a life time. Congrats you two! I wish you all the happiness in the world!

Angelique & Antoine

One of my favorite things about Toronto is how you can always find places in the city that feel like a whole other world. I hadn’t realized how true that was until the sun started setting over the Beaches while we were shooting Angelique and Antoine, this awesome couple from my hometown in Ottawa. I honestly felt like I was back in Iceland taking pictures of these two hanging out on these huge piles of rocks. It was pretty epic. We had a really great time getting to know the two of them & were honored to be part of Angelique’s birthday weekend. alex

Sneak Peek!

Here’s a sneak peak at a shoot we did with Angelique and Antoine who came down from Ottawa and spent an evening with Cheryl and I in the Beaches. The rest of the shoot is coming soon! Can’t wait to post it, these two had the beaches looking like a million bucks.

On another note, I’ve started packing my bags (…that’s not entirely true, but I have been thinking about what I want to pack) for Jamaica! I leave this Saturday to shoot Chantal and Chris’s wedding in Runaway Bay. Pretty excited. Click here to check out the engagement shoot we did with them in the spring. alex
